Mary has been singing since she was a little girl, in the United Methodist Church and throughout grade school and high school. She majored in music at SUNY Stony Brook, with an emphasis in piano performance and choral singing. Mary had a long career in the canyons of Wall Street as an editor, researcher, and investor relations executive. She changed directions midstream and had a long and successful sojourn as a classical radio host, at WQXR and WNYC in New York City, at WMHT in the Hudson Valley and at WPLN in Nashville. She has sung with the 92nd Street Y Chorale, the Collegiate Chorale, and the Chancel Choir of of St. George's Church Episcopal in Nashville. Mary is a member of the choir of Christ The King Church in Stone Ridge, serving as cantor when the liturgy calls for it. She also sings with the Bard College Symphonic Choir. She has her own creative communications business: writing, editing, proofreading, marketing and publicity, graphic design, layout, and pre-press. Mary serves as Publicity Director for Kairos.
