Kairos is celebrating its 28th Anniversary as the premiere vocal ensemble of the Hudson Valley! With dedication to the performance of unaccompanied choral literature from the Medieval to the present; see our repertoire below.
Kairos presents the Bach Cantata Series, with performances of the church cantatas of J. S. Bach at various times throughout the year at Holy Cross Monastery. Now in its sixteenth year, the series has elicited an enormously enthusiastic response by the public and has received wide critical acclaim. Kairos also presents historically-informed performances of the great Baroque choral works each fall, including the Monteverdi "Vespers", Handel's "Dixit Dominus", Purcell's "King Arthur" and Bach's majestic "Mass in B Minor".
