BOB LUKOMSKI

Bob is primarily an electro-acoustic composer and performer who has specialized in working with choreographers and gallery performances. In addition to teaching Electronic Music & Theory, Lukomski has also taught introduction to Moral Philosophy as well as numerous workshops in the NYC area related to dance, improvisation and electro-acoustic sound design. Bob has been awarded grants by Meet the Composer, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Arts Council, and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He has been awarded composers residencies by the Pearlman Colony and the Field. He is also professional choral singer and soloist who has performed and/or toured with Grace Episcopal Church, St. Thomas Church, Trinity Wall Street (all NYC) . He is also active in NYC-based experimental music circles, working with composers Richard Kamerman, David Mecionis, Jeremy Slater, and the performance ensemble Frogwell. Bob has had his work performed by the Poné Ensemble for New Music, New Paltz, NY, Ensemble Decadanse, Lunel, France, and Clyde Forth Visual Theatre, Edinburgh, Scotland, among others. He performs solo concerts and installations in NYC and the Hudson Valley regularly.
