In addition to singing with Kairos, Eric is a classical guitarist, composer and arranger. He specializes in historical instruments and repertoire and frequently performs at public and private venues throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. He earned a bachelor's degree in Music Performance from SUNY-New Paltz and has received lessons or master classes from numerous renowned guitarists and lutenists, including David Starobin, Gohar Vardanyan, Nicholas Goluses, and Michael Newman & Laura Oltman. He serves on the board of the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society and as president of the Pone Ensemble for New Music. Eric has worked his entire career in the nonprofit industry, and is currently a grant writer for Mohonk Preserve.
